Conrad - 5 Year Old Bull Arab (On Trial)

Conrad is a large-sized, male, Bull Arab with a big heart and a lot of love to give. At 5 years of age Conrad is looking for a new lease on life with his forever family.

This loveable boy was saved from a regional pound only hours before a scheduled euthanisia appointment at the vet.

After his near escape it became clear that Conrad has a lot of living left to do as he thrives on time spent with his humans out and about exploring and getting lots of belly scratches.

He’s an excitable doggy who follows and understand basic commands such as sit and stay. He shakes his whole body in excitement when you arrive home but will still know not to jump up if told to sit.

This big boy is well behaved and is happy to play with you outdoors in the day and snuggle up to you on the lounge at night. He also does not bark and will stick with you when let off leash.

Conrad loves spending time with other dogs and is very friendly with all dogs and is cat friendly.

Being a large sized dog Conrad would not be suitable for families with kids under 5. Any other home for Conrad is a home that he would simply love to be a part of and fill with his joyous and wonderful self.

Conrad is in foster care in the Lake Macquarie, NSW area. They are currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $350.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
