About Otto
Introducing the cheeky Otto. Otto is a Kelpie x Cattle born 30th March 2022.
Otto is a typical working breed, cheeky puppy. He can get a bit boisterous and jumpy at times, so a home with older children would be beneficial for him so he can’t accidentally knock little ones over.
It doesn't appear that Otto has had any socialising with other animals as he doesn't know how to behave around them. We have now been able to successfully introduce him to a few other dogs & he has been very playful with them. If you have another dog at home we will need you to bring them to the facility for a meet & greet to ensure they get along before going home.
Given Otto's breeds, he does appear to have a decent amount of prey drive, so we are recommending a home with no pocket pets. He is also very scared of cats so he would be best suited to a home without cats.
Otto has shown no signs of food aggression towards humans or separation anxiety when left alone.
Otto is such a loving young man who wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Otto, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Otto’s adoption fee is $350, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Otto is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Otto is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
