About Toru
“A foodie is a person who has an ardent or refined interest in food, and who eats food not only out of hunger but also as a hobby”
Toru (meaning three in Te reo Maori) is a very affectionate and cuddly senior cat and your ultimate foodie friend!
She loves to have her head scratched and enjoys attention, but most of all, she loves to sit with you for a meal and will happily tell you about her day as she eats.
Toru has shared the house with our three other rescue cats but has vocalised that she prefers to be a solo resident and will resign herself to her room if the other cats are around.
Toru would suit a home with no other pets and someone who wants a total cuddle buddy.

Medical notes
Toru had one of her hind limbs amputated due to an old injury. She manages well on three legs, however due to age and amputee status her mobility will need to be monitored, and Toru may require joint supplements in future to help keep her mobile and comfortable.
