This handsome big ball of floof is Bertram – or Bertie when being more informal. Bertie is another who has come to us due to the current housing crisis and past owner's inability to keep him.
While Bertie can be a sweet and affectionate cat, he is NOT a fan of other pets and really needs to be someone's one and only devoted fur-baby.
Bertie can be shy to begin with (like many cats) but after time to adjust to new surroundings and learn to trust again, he loves just hanging on the couch, having a snooze in the corner, or watching out the window.
Bertie will also sell his soul for cooked chicken. And, if it's a roast chicken from Coles or Woolies he can smell it before you even get in the door, and will become your slave for life for his share.
If you have no other pets and would like to have Bertie as your fluffy companion in life, please contact us.
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.
(Please note: all our cats kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
