Badger

Please meet Badger, a clever young Border Collie mix with a gentle and sweet temperament.

For a BC mix, Badger's surprisingly placid or, in modern parlance, "chill". :-) Nevertheless, he's an active and athletic boy and loves to romp and play with his canine buddies. He's also the life of the party at the local dog park where he'll happily interact with dogs, big and small.

He's on the larger side for a BC mix and, being light-footed and athletic, would be great for someone who's into dog agility. He'd also make the ultimate jogging partner and would be with you at the end.

Badger loves humans and is eager to please. He's great with children and comfortable around strangers. He's okay with cats.

He doesn't jump up when you first meet him and is innately well-mannered. He is okay on a lead, but needs more practice at loose-leash walking. Once bonded, he has excellent recall.

"Clever and quiet" is how his foster mum describes him. He's definitely not a barker and is very engaged with and interested in his environment.

A typical BC mix, he soaks up new information and learns quickly.

He's an inside-outside dog and is house-trained.
