About Possum
Hello,
My name is possum. My breed is unknown as i'm from a remote community in Far North Queensland. I've already done a lot of travelling. I flew on a plane from my community all the way to cairns. I think i'd be happy to do that again if the right family came along :D
But anyway a little about me. I think i'm around 2 years old although my foster family really isn't sure. I'm a happy girl and I love the company of people and other dogs. I'm a little bit thin atm, because food was hard to find where I'm from, but my foster family say i'm eating well now :)
I've recently met the cows were I am living atm. They have really big horns! I was unsure about them at first as they looked sooooo big, but now I'm getting to know them they aren't so bad!
I also met a cat, who was willing to be my friend, I liked her and I think I could live with a cat that was confident around me and wanted to play :D

Medical notes
Unfortunately because of where I have come from I have tested positive for heart worm, but it isn't as bad as it sounds, it just means I need to have some treatment over the next few months which has already been paid for :) I can still find my new home, but need someone who can take me to my vet appointments.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is very flexible! We do have an adoption application form, but we'd prefer to have a chat (via messenger, email or a phone call) first, so we can tell you more about the animal and answer any burning questions you may have.
If you'd like to proceed with the adoption after our chat, we will then forward you our adoption application form. If RAA think that your home is a great match for the animal, the last step is to have a quick FaceTime/Video chat so that you can 'meet' the pet and show us around their new home.
