About Kaira
Kaira was one of a large litter and for a long time was very timid. She's still not an outgoing cat, and probably won't ever be keen on strangers, but when I enter her room and sit down on a beanbag she's up on my lap very soon and rubbing for pats. I watch a show while sipping tea, and Kaira keeps bumping my hand for more pats. Eventually she curls up in my lap and lays there purring as she's being patted. Sometimes she goes to sleep this way. She has a beautiful, shiny coat that's lovely to stroke, and for the right person she's going to be very loved. She's a cat that needs a quiet home, preferably without dogs or kids (although she was ok with my 8yo grandchild patting her today) - it depends on the child. Cats like this can be difficult to place because adopters are strangers, but please consider giving her a chance; we'll extend the refund time to a month, to give you both a chance to get to know each other.
See this video of her on her carer's lap: https://youtu.be/vg0-x83Gy34-
