About Baker
** IN FOSTER CARE IN WOLLI CREEK**
Mix in some awesome, stir in some adorable and add a cup of adoptable... and you get BAKER!
Baker is an incredibly sweet, deviously charming and cheeky puppy who loves to play, party and has recently become besties with the couch. His happy go lucky attitude and adventurous spirit will make him the perfect match for a family who are looking for an active, fun and very handsome addition to the home.
Baker's mum was a staffy and dad a lab, his personality and looks are a 50/50 split between the two so you get the best of both worlds and I really mean THE BEST because this boy is a real treat. He is confident and (mostly) brave, he loves to learn and has been picking up his sits, downs, recall and how to walk on leash like an absolute champ. He sleeps in his pen of a night and doesn't make a peep until morning where he wakes with a insatiable hunger for both breakfast and the day.
MY IDEAL HOME: I'm looking for an active home with a family that will include me in their day to day activites. Humans who are looking to put in the effort to ensure I am a good canine citizen and a positive representitive for rescue dogs, this means puppy school is a must as well as ongoing postive socialisation. Bonus points to those that are looking for more than just a dog but a best friend.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm still a baby so I do need many naps throughout the day but when I'm awake I party pretty hard, I love to adventure and explore and being that I'm a mix of two fairly active breeds it's safe to say I'm not going to be a slug.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I am a friend to all but I do have razor sharp puppy teeth so would need to be managed around small children, I would probably suit kids who have some experience hanging around big dogs as I'm going to grow to be a fairly decent size (30kg maybe).
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I LOVE DOGS! I currently live with both big and small and am not shy meeting new dog friends. I would adore living with another dog of any size, just as long as they were up for a wrestle and a snuggle.
I also currently live with a cat, I'm still very excited by her exsistence but I could easily share my life with a confident cat that wouldn't be worried about my inital overzealous desire to be friends.
Medical notes
Baker will be under a desexing contract which means ownership will not be transferred until he is desexed at 5-6 months old.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
