It is obvious to us that Jasper was previously a loved family member as someone has invested time into this precious boy. He is highly intelligent and responds to come, sit, stay and drop.

Jasper loves to have something to do, especially showing off his command skills. He is very treat focused and will perform for you all day if there is any chance of receiving a delicious treat.

Type of household: Jasper prefers women over men. He requires additional time to trust men and to be totally at ease in their presence. Once you have this gorgeous boys trust, he is extremely affectionate and loving.

Due to being very intelligent Jasper has so much more potential to learn additional commands and tricks. An experienced dog owner who enjoys being hands on to provide training and enrichment would be a perfect match for Jasper.

Jasper has displayed some food bowl guarding if placed within his kennel. Staff are currently managing this by using a flat mat at feed times. Outside of his kennel, Jasper hasn't displayed any guarding behaviour. His new owner will need to make allowances for this until they have a better understanding of his feeding requirements in a home environment.

We believe Jasper is suitable to share a home with older children who can understand that Jasper may not like to be handled while eating.

Other pets: We are unsure how Jasper may react with another animals during feeding times and when treats are being offered. Therefore we are recommending that he be rehomed without any other pets at this stage.

Jasper does enjoy the company of calm, older but playful canine friends. Catch ups with other canine buddies would definitely be something that Jasper would thoroughly enjoy.

Jasper's adoption fee covers: microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments.
