About Wolfie
Introducing the lovable Wolfie. Wolfie is a... well.. we're not exactly sure what Wolfie is. He has the little ears & puffy nose of a Shar Pei, but the rest of his head looks almost Staffy/Cattle? He is quite a small boy so he might have some form of Terrier in him too? All we know is he's a handsome scruff who was born approx 10th February 2010.
Wolfie is a sweet & gentle old man who adores his human companions.
Wolfie is desperately looking for a quiet place to live our his retirement. He loves going out for a gentle stroll and he mostly doesn't pull on the lead when walking. Being "mature-aged" he's not an overly active boy, however he still enjoys his daily walks.
Wolfie wasn't a fan of male dogs, however he seemed OK with calm females. He can be reactive to other dogs when walking, so he will need continued training to help minimise his reactions. If you have an older, calm & friendly female dog we will need to do a meet & greet with her to ensure they get along before he goes home.
We are recommending a home with no cats or pocket pets.
Wolfie has shown no signs of food aggression towards humans however he has shown mild signs of separation anxiety when left alone.
Wolfie is such a loving man who wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Wolfie, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Wolfie’s adoption fee is $300, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Wolfie is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Wolfie is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
