** Dozer has tested positive to E.canis and has been placed on a 28 day course of anti-biotics to treat the symptoms**

It recommended by DPIRD that all dogs being moved into, out of, within northern WA, or areas where E. canis may be active are:
* not showing any signs of E. canis
* treated with a registered tick product effective in the prevention of the brown dog tick
* taken to a veterinarian if they begin showing signs of fever, lethargy or weakness, bleeding or bruising, not eating or weight loss.

Dozer is a lovely friendly chappy who very much enjoys human contact. He just loves cuddles and pats, so much so that he is difficult to photograph! He also loves outings, plays nicely with other dogs and can walk well on a lead.

He is learning some new skills in his foster home such as sit, wait, and stay. He may not have had much training in the past but is enjoying his lessons. He is very responsive to food based positive reinforcement!

Dozer has also met some small humans (kids) and has been well behaved and gentle.
