About Pepper
🌶️ Pepper is a playful, energetic little pocket rocket!
🏀 He is curious and loves to explore his surroundings, including all the nooks and crannies of bookshelves, toy boxes and anything with water! In fact, Pepper loves water so much he loves a good splash in the water bowl or bathtub 🛀
🐱 Being such a playful boy, Pepper would love a home with another playful kitty or one of his siblings. He’d also love to be surrounded by toys like a tunnel, cat tree and wand toys.
💝 What else does Pepper love???
Cuddles cuddles cuddles! He’s a truly affectionate and smoochy boy who loves a cuddle.
🤗 His foster carer says:
“Cuddle first then food” is Pepper’s motto. While his siblings quickly tuck into brekky and dinner Pepper seeks out a ‘hello’ and cuddle as his first priority.
🧒👦👶 Pepper ADORES playing with children! He gets so excited when they enter the room and just wants to be with them.
✅ Pepper is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and lifetime registered with the council. He is ready for his furever family!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
