CeCe is special. Not only because she has no sight, but because of her gentle and calm manner. CeCe enjoys ball games and wrestling with her brother like any other kitten. She loves to climb cat trees and hasn't let being blind hold her back. CeCe comes when called and knows the signal for food. Once she has mapped out her areas she is confident and surefooted. CeCe gets her purr going straight away, loving strokes and affection. She will give so much love to her new family. Cece requires a quieter home, perhaps even with older children who will understand not to leave things around and in her way to trip her.
CeCe must be rehomed together with her beautiful brother Chadd, also listed. Chadd is CeCe's eyes and helps her negotiate her world. But don't be daunted - CeCe and Chadd are a fun and easy-care duo full of love. Tidy litter users and non fussy eaters, CeCe and Chadd are the purrfect pair for you.
To apply, please complete our SAFE Bunbury Cat application form.
MEDICAL NOTES
CeCe is blind. Our vet believes that she was born with the condition. Other than her lack of vision, she is a regular kitten.
Adoption fee includes vet check, first F3 vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
*Kittens will require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. Please enquire for more information.
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
As this kitten is under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury
Busselton Veterinary Hospital, Busselton
Ninth Street Vet Clinic, Harvey
Halls Head Small Animal Clinic, Halls Head
Caryn Vet Hospital, Edgewater
Kingsley Veterinary Hospital, Kingsley
South Metropolitan TAFE Vet Clinic, Bentley (during semester)
Swan Veterinary Hospital, Midvale
Albany Vet Hospital, Albany
Swans Vet Service, Esperance
Please ask us for more information on arranging sterilisation of your pet if you live outside the Bunbury area.
