About Chrissy
Hi everyone, my name is Chrissy and I’m 8 weeks old today. I as born at Christmas, hence my name.
When I was 6 weeks old I was dumped in the yard of a lovely man who was unable to care for me long term, so he did what was best for me and surrendered me. He said I probably came from a litter down the street and if I did, my mum and dad were both cattle dog x.
I’m now ready to find my forever home, but I’ll need to tell you more about myself first.
I spend these hot days in my foster mum and dad’s home in Moree (boy Moree’s a hot place!) I entertain myself playing with my toys and anything else that looks like fun, including bare feet and toes - I don’t know why but they don’t seem to like it, so I don’t do it as much now (with a little time and ongoing training, I’ll learn to not nibble toes and feet at all). For this reason, I would be best suited to an experienced home without children.
The small dogs in my foster home are a bit old and grumpy mainly, so I’m learning not to bother them too much, though it is fun sometimes. The bigger dogs outside are more social towards me though.
There’s a nasty big black cat that sleeps under the bed who doesn’t encourage me to drop by, he scares me so I have to run very fast back to the kitchen after visiting him.
I now sleep quite happily by myself in the kennels at night. I wear a collar with a little bell so my humans know where I am, which I’m now quite used to.
I’ll be desexed before I go to my new home.
If you think I’d be a good fit with your family, please send an email to my mum and brag about all the things you can offer me, tell us about your family’s living situation, work hours, other pets.
As I said, my foster home is in Moree, NSW, so if you’re the right family for me, you will have to be prepared to drive to Moree to collect me (to give you an idea where I live, it’s a 6-7 hour drive from Sydney).
Medical notes
First vaccination, microchipped and will be desexed. Flea and tick treated and wormed.
