About Luna
*In foster care in Stanmore, Sydney*
Lovely Luna (aka Lulu, aka Looney) is seriously the sweetest girl! Greeting every dog and human she meets with excitement and undying adoration, she's a big bundle of love and just wants a 'forever' home all of her own.
Luna knows how to sit, drop and high five, and she's toilet trained. She's got no idea how large she is and will try to sit on your lap or stand on you to get some cuddles :)
The soulful look in her eyes will make your heart melt - when her long, gangly legs and lolling tongue aren't making you giggle! This precious goofball is still 'finding her feet' and will sometimes trip and fall quite theatrically. She’s definitely more character actor than ballerina!
Like all Maggie's pets, Luna is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have kids to play with, and maybe a small-to-medium sized dog to keep me company while my humans are out doing their thing! A dog who's playful and silly just like me will keep me entertained and happy :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! My perfect new person will take me to the dog park mornings and afternoons. I do enjoy a simple stroll around the neighbourhood, but I definitely prefer meeting and playing with other pups as my daily exercise.
Be aware that I'm fast and can get excited, and my brakes still need some fine-tuning - so keep a close eye on me in busy parks or I may run into someone! I need to work a bit more on my spatial awareness...
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I love kids and I'm gentle with little ones! I tend to come over for a pat and a lick but never jump or bark, so I'm not too overwhelming. Children of any age would be suitable, as long as they're happy playing with me and cuddling up with me at night.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've been a huge fan of every dog I've met so far - especially the smaller ones! I haven't come across any cats yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
