About Maize
Howdy friends!
I'm Maize, or more affectionately called Ratbag!
I am a VERY special little kitten, so my foster mummy says.
Me and my 4 siblings were found in a wood pile in someones back yard, and 2 lovely ladies helped rescue us, get us checked out by a vet and placed in care with the people at HHAR!
We arrived on the 30th of December and were gearing up for a big New Years, celebrating the start of the rest of our lives when I got really sick. My foster mum came home and found me unresponsive on the floor and spent 9 hours providing emergency life saving care, until 5am. No one thought I would make it through the night, so I surprised them all by getting better whilst they slept and playing hide and seek!
It's a mircale I'm here to tell you this tale! I have since grown into a beautiful, healthy, energetic little kitten with no repercussions of that night.
I am the first to greet people at the door, the fastest to run away, and the wriggliest if you want to cuddle me!
Me and my brothers and sisters have been so spoilt in care - we have our own room to play in that's decked out with cat towers/toys/beds, we used to sleep min there every night but lately we've been allowed to have complete freedom in the house 24/7!!
I keep trying to be friends with the 2 big kitties that live here but they're not super interested in me, I think 5 littles is a bit overwhelming for them haha
I love to follow my humans around and will nearly always be found close to someone.
If you think your home is the missing puzzle piece of my life, please send us an enquiry!
I cannot wait to bring so much joy to my new family!
Love, Maize xx
