About Tie
Tie is a resilient cat who spent much of his early life in isolation and entered kitty-rehabilitation with us at HVAFARC as a result. As of early 2024, Tie has officially graduated his studies, and is on the lookout for his perfect home!
Despite such a hard start to life and lacking the stability of a home, Tie has come out of his shell beautifully and has a new love for life and people. He is a curious fellow who loves to come up for a sniff and a pat, and is even learning how to play which has been beautiful to see. Once he warms up to you and realises you're the giver-of-treats, the cuddles will be non-stop. He loves to have a chat, and loves telling the shelter volunteers good morning when they first come in.
Tie is litter trained, and is currently sharing his space with other cats. He has also lived with a dog before, showcasing his potential for harmonious coexistence in most homes. Tie is carrier trained, and walks in with no fuss, making vet trips or holidays a breeze.
If you could open your home to a cat who deserves a second chance in life, please apply to arrange a meet and greet.
