This is Betty, and she is the sweetest lady you'll ever meet.

Betty found herself homeless after her owner passed away and was rescued from a rural pound. She is very sweet and gentle around children, but given she's in her senior years, older children would be best so they know to be gentle as well.

Betty is happy to lay around with you for most of the day and is quite happy to chill whilst you're away from home. She will give a gentle lick when she'd like a pat and has a sweet scratch spot on her neck.

She hasn't displayed any undesirable behaviours, knows basic commands like "sit", "lay down", "bed", "no", and is house trained. She has not tried to jump a fence in foster care, but secure 4-5 foot fencing is preferable to ensure she is safe.

Betty does not like cats or other dogs so she would be best suited to having the home to herself. She really does deserve a peaceful life being loved.
