About Malvi
If you’re looking for a sweet and affectionate pup with a playful side, then Malvi is your girl!
This stunning pup is bound to turn heads wherever she goes, and those puppy dog eyes are quite impossible to resist. Malvi loves her people, and her super friendly nature means she is happy to meet anyone and everyone she comes across. She is very snuggly with both people and other dogs and loves to cuddle up on the couch with her human friends in the evenings. Malvi enjoys playing with her toys as well as exploring around the yard. She is a pup who loves to be around her family and involved in what everyone else is doing.
During her time in care, she has been living with a large adult dog who she gets along great with. They love to cuddle and play together. When meeting other dogs out and about that she doesn’t know Malvi is a bit unsure, particularly if her big foster sibling is not with her to give her confidence. She will need a family who has the ability to provide her with appropriate positive socialisation experiences in controlled settings through play dates with known dogs and groups walks or classes. It is expected that Malvi will be a large (around 30kg) and relatively active dog when fully grown so her new family should expect to exercise her daily and provide some mental stimulation at home as well.
In foster care, Malvi has started her basic training. She is a smart girl who is food motivated which means she enjoys training activities and is showing to pick commands up quickly. She has learnt to sit and is learning to walk nicely on a lead. Like any puppy, Malvi’s new owners must be committed to continuing her training. Puppy school is a good start, but it would be ideal for her to be enrolled in further group classes throughout the early years of her life. At home, she is toilet trained, crate trained and very quickly worked out the doggy door. Malvi is able to be left along for short periods of time and is continuing to build up her independence; however, she would love to have a home with a doggy friend for companionship and who could be a good role model for her.
We are looking for a dog experienced home where Malvi will be included as part of the family. She will need a home with another friendly dog and/or where someone is home more often than not. She must be allowed to be inside to spend time with the family and will require a bed inside to sleep on at night. Malvi is better suited to older children who can partake in her training while she is still learning to keep all 4 feet on the floor. She has not been tested with cats or other types of pets but with the correct training and introductions she should be ok. Malvi’s new owners will gain a true family member and will get lots of snuggles in return for their time and attention.
If you would like to apply to give sweet Malvi a home, then please complete a Dog adoption Enquiry form on our website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your family, previous dog experience and any current pets.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
