Oh Tallulah, what an absolute sweetheart you are!!
Tallulah came from deathrow at regional pound heavily pregnant. Most cats will take a couple of days or longer to settle into a new environment, but not Tallulah – she is one of the most outgoing, confident, sweet and smoochy kittens to ever come through my home.
She gave birth to 4 kittens two weeks after arriving into care. She had a rough few weeks after birth after she got a uterus infection and needed emergency surgery. Her babies needed to be bottle fed for a week as Tallulah was too sick to care for them – unfortunately during that time one of them passed away. Her 3 sons were returned to her when she had recovered, and she was a dedicated mother and her 3 kittens absolutely thrived!! She is now ready to move onto the next stage of her rescue journey – the ellusive forever home!!
Tallulah is a very petite girl, who possibly has oriental in her which would explain her lean frame and her loud voice!! She is very vocal and will chat away to you quite happily, and will certainly tell you about her day! She does not like shut doors if her human is behind the shut door because she feels she is missing out, so she will yell at you until you open the door at let you in – she is a people cat and needs to be with her people and involved in what’s happening. She is super smoochy and loves her people. Now that her babies have left, she is showing that she is just a kitten at heart and is having a great time having zoomies through the house and playing with the kitten toys. This girl is perfect in every way imaginable, and would make a wonderful addition to any home. She is great with all the other cats in her foster home, and even head bops her canine foster sister.
