About Blackie and Ginger
These two sweethearts, Ginger and Blackie, suffered the sadness of losing their elderly fur mum earlier last year đ˘
Her daughter had been searching for a rescue group to take on this sweet pair for months until she found us đ
Blackie and Ginger are 15 years old and incredibly sweet in nature. Ginger has mild hyperthyroidism which has been managed well on medication while Blackie is in very good health. They are adorable.
Ginger and Blackie would work well in an elderly persons home, talk to us about adoption fees if this would be a struggle.
Medical notes
Ginger has mild hyperthyroidism which has been managed well on medication.
Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attentionâŚeven devotion. Youâll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming â a great way to bond- as they often donât have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and youâll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
