About Nia
Nia is such a beautiful girl, she has sweet nature about her, super loyal, and a little goofy.
You’ll mostly find Nia chilling around the home with you, either on the floor, couch or her bed. She enjoys the company of her humans and when you come home from work, she’s going to be as happy as you are to see each other.
Nia has been perfectly well behaved being left alone at home during the day whilst her carer works full time, provided she gets a good daily walk and some human snuggle time, she's a happy girl.
She walks well on lead, travels well in the car and really loves going for doggy pack walks in large or small community groups and any fun adventures is a bonus!
At home, once settled in she’s amazing around the house. She's also crate trained but does prefer to be free roaming.
She's fine to be around other dogs on walks and responds well with face to face meetings on lead. We wouldn't be looking to place her in a highly dog social environment and she'll prefer to be an only dog at home. We haven't tested her with kids or cats at this stage.
Like most Shepherds, she does shed quite a bit, especially in summer when her winter coat sheds. She'll need dedicated daily grooming and a family not adverse to doggy hair on their clothes and furniture!
Nia is super smart, eager to learn and picks up things quickly and will be even more amazing if training is continued to help her grow into a successful dog!
We're looking for a home with large dog experience, preferably with Shepherds or other intelligent breeds. Her new family should be committed to her daily physical & mental stimulation needs, ongoing training and making her an integral part of the family.
If looking for a sweet, very loyal girl to add to your family, please consider Nia.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
