About Lexie
Lexie is a sweet girl who needs a loving home. She is a 5yo Kelpie/Heeler, but she much prefers the quiet indoors to running around outside. Initially Lexie was very nervous and frightened but after a week of gentle introductions, she is more confident and loves everyone she meets. Lexie is very treat motivated and smart so would be very easy to train!
Lexie is fine with other dogs but much prefers human company. If housed with another dog it would need to be someone who gives Lexie her personal space.
Due to her history of nervousness, Lexie needs a home with owners who can continue to work on developing her confidence.
Lexie is untested with cats

*Please note due to COVID-19 restrictions appointments must be made to attend the shelter.
All our animals must be viewed by potential adopters and their household. Please give the shelter a call on 5334 2075 or email animalshelter@ballarat.vic.gov.au for more information about the animal and our adoption procedures. Some animals are not desexed till after the adoption.
