About Spice - Rottweiler X, 3 month old puppy
Spice is an adorable 3 mth Rottweiler x puppy. She is typical of her breed, super active, alert and intelligent. She has spent her time running, playing and rumbling with her sibling and the foster carers dogs. She has also been tolerated by the household’s cat, so no guarantees for the potential cats in her future. She has been with her foster family every day since coming into care, exploring her surrounds and getting into a routine and training that would make her an ideal adoptee for any energetic person/couple or family who is willing to continue her training.
Spice will need a home that is dedicated to her ongoing training and
socialisation. Spice has been crate training, toilet training on grass (every
hour or so), using doggy door and learning some basic commands (come,
stay). Spice has responded well to her training, particularly the crate where
she has been housed if she isn’t eating, toileting, lounging on a bed in the
house or free playing in the yard with her siblings and foster mummy. She
needs a family who understands the daily physical and mental demands for
this breed/s as she is growing.
Spice has been exposed to young children thus far without incident so if her
her training/routine continues and boundaries are set, there is no reason
families with young children cannot adopt this gorgeous young girl.
Due to the mix of breed, we do not know how big Spice will get, but you can
assume the puppy who is super cute and small now, will grow medium to
large.

Spice is currently in foster care at Raymond Terrace, NSW, and is NOT
available for interstate adoption. Spice’s adoption fee is $700 and covers her
desexing and second vaccination. She has had her first vaccination,
microchipping and treated for fleas/worms.

Medical notes
As Spice is not desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
