About Angus
Introducing the gentleman Angus. Angus is a Terrier x born 3rd August 2010.
Angus is a sweet & gentle old man who adores his human companions.
Angus appears to be either deaf or hard of hearing and is desperately looking for a place to live out his retirement. He loves going out for a gentle stroll and he doesn't pull on the lead when walking. Being "mature aged" he's more than happy with a 20-30min walk and he enjoys a well deserved snooze afterwards.
Angus was quite scared of other dogs (both large & small dogs) & cats. For this reason we feel he will be better suited as an only dog.
Angus showed no interest in pocket pets, so we feel he could be suitable to a home with chickens & rabbits.
Angus has shown no signs of food aggression towards humans & he's shown no sign of separation anxiety while at the facility.
Angus is such a loving man who wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Angus, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Angus’ adoption fee is $300, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Angus is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Angus is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
