About Vera
**All pets' adoption fees are half-price during March**
Vera is a shy but sweet kitty looking for a family who will be patient and kind to him. She would love to find a place that he can call his own. In her new home, Vera will need plenty of playtime with lots of toys and a tower to climb on and scratch, as well as kitten food multiple times a day to ensure ehe grows big and strong. Vera is already litter trained, but it's best to teach her again when she gets home.
Vera is also okay with other cats in the home, just make sure there's a slow introduction process so she doesn't get too overwhelmed. If you're looking for an affectionate, loyal companion that loves playing with toys, then Miller is the perfect pet for you!

Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure.

Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
How much does it cost to adopt?
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
