Hi, I’m Chase!
I came in with my friend Milkshake and sadly we didn’t get collected. Now I’m on the search for bigger and better things, starting with a new home! I would love to go home to a family who is happy to have me be a part of their everyday routine. I just want to be loved in the same way I give it.
I often jump up on people because I’m just so happy to see them so it would be best if any children in the home were at least 10 years old or have been around boisterous dogs before. My carers say I need to be gentler when taking treats, but I think I’m afraid they won’t give it to me otherwise. They said I will never have to be without food again.
I have met other dogs at the facility and I don't mind their company at all! Please bring your dog in from home so we can see if we get along.
I don’t think I’ve been inside a home before, but I’d like to try. I heard it’s cosy and warm, and I get to hang out with my family more. I’d love a yard with secure fencing, so I can run around and sunbake when I get tired.
I cope pretty well in the shelter, so I think it would be okay if my new family worked full-time. I’d love to go for walks around the neighbourhood when you get home though! If you can give a young boy like me a second chance at life, please apply below.
Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
