About Sage 34971
**All pets' adoption fees are half-price during March**
Are you after a companion for life and someone you can build a connection with? Then Sage is your girl. She is a big softy that will need your support and patience in becoming with training to become the goodest girl ever. Sage is a sweet girl that often keeps to herself and likes her chill time. As Sage is fairly independent and she's good at entertaining herself a lot of the time but would love toys and other mentally stimulating activities like Kong’s or enrichment puzzles.
Sage is very interested in the big wide world around her and when out can forget to focus on her handler. However, she's eager to build on her leash skills when in a quiet area. She does find it overwhelming when other dogs are near, so will need help to take it slow and build positive relationships.
If you are looking for an active, adventurous companion, Sage is your girl!

Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure

Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
