About Jeanie
**All pets' adoption fees are half-price during March**
Jeanie is a sweet and gentle girl who would make a great companion in most homes. She is an easy-going pooch that loves to receive love and affection, so she'd be perfectly content as a couch potato in her new home. Jeanie has met other dogs at the facility and would prefer to be the only pup in her new home. She also gets along well with children of any age, making her an ideal family pet.
Though she isn't overly energetic, Jeanie still loves regular walks and does quite nicely on lead so far. With further training she will walk in a straight line and treats are a great way to use as rewards during these walks! It's also handy if you need to distract her from other dogs while out exploring.
If you'd like to meet this sweet girl for yourself during March, take advantage of the half-price adoption fee and click the enquire button below - you won't regret it!

Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
How much does it cost to adopt?
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
