About Missy
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A family situation where people are home more often than not
- A grassed yard for zoomies
Are you ready to have your heart stolen?
The little heart thief in question is Missy AKA Molly: a darling 2.5 year old gal with abundant energy and affection in equal measure!
Her smile is infectious, her love of ear scratches insatiable, and don’t get us started on the dynamic (in)elegance of her afternoon zooms that’ll leave you in stitches.
House trained and great on lead, Missy will settle beautifully into your daily routine, but would be best suited to a work-from-home setup, or arrangement where she can be with her human pals more often than not. She can get a bit anxious if left home alone, but she has improved in this respect in the last month. Missy LOVES people and will befriend anyone she can, and truly values quality time (/all the time) with you.
Missy’s gaining confidence every day, and has become more social with other dogs out on walks. She’s also getting more accustomed to prams, bicycles and cars that pass by. Busy streets are still big and new and a little scary, but with some more time out and about, this gal is on the fast track to socialite status.
This gal may not be suited to a home with young children and/or a senior dog, as she can get quite exuberant in play and her spoonies (spin zooms on the spot) might be a bit hazardous for any fragile creatures within paw’s reach. She would also love a backyard to stretch her legs, sniff and explore.
Missy has melted the hearts of her foster carers, and we’re sure you’ll be absolutely smitten when you meet her too!
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
