Hi! I'm Snowflake and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Snowflake until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Snowflake in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• A doggie companion is a MUST to keep me company when my family isn't home as I get very lonely and will howl, I am use to being with other dogs.
• I MUST be allowed inside with my family
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (with no gabs for my small body to squeeze through)
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence


Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due to being mouthy & bouncy
• No young children as I can be a bit shy in new situations and with new people and little ones may accidently scare me. children over 10 years who aren't too full on would be okay.

My best features:
• Gentle & placid
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans once I get to know them.
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch
• LOVES belly rubs

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require basic training as I've had little training experience yet.
• I am shy at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization
