IMP 571 “BUDDY” is an approx. 8 month old Black Labrador x Staffy who originally came to our Shelter as an unmicrochipped stray. He was found at a skatepark playing with children. He was unfortunately not reclaimed but quickly adopted. He was than surrendered back to the Shelter as he was too strong and needed additional training. Buddy is a beautiful boy and very people focused. He is strong on a lead, he is going through his puppy phase so he can be destructive and is an active boy. He is extremely responsive to training, he can sit and wait. He is treat and toy focused. In a committed home with training and consistency he will make a great dog. He loves kongs. He loves making noise in his kennel throwing around his good bowl. We have started socializing him with other dogs and he is learning how to act appropriately. He is not demonstrating any aggression but he will pull to greet and play with a dog. We do recommend a meet and greet if other existing dogs at home and than once home time to adjust. He is a very affectionate and loving boy who is ready to go to his new home. His adoption fee is $408 which includes desexing, microchipping, vaccination, registration and worm and flea treatment.
