About Celio
Recently Celio’s world turned upside down when his owner had to urgently leave town without notice. He was left a friends place however their dog decided that she doesn’t like him and has attacked him. This caused Celio high levels of stress and he is now in a quiet foster home .
Due to all of the recent changes, Celio started losing patches of hair, and he is still recovering from the wounds of the dog fight so he is not looking his best but thanks to our vet we now have him on medication.
Celio is a true rescue dog in every sense of the word. Sue bailed Celio out of the pound back in 2018 and he was adopted not long after. We believe he was blinded as a result of being hit by a car about a week before we took him into care.
Celio has been one of our “special” dogs ever since and we will do anything to ensure this boy is happy. Despite his handicap, he gets around amazingly well - we believe he can see shadows, but it also may be just that he is a very clever lad. Moving to new location won’t be a problem for him and he can work out the lay of the land in no time at all.
Celio is estimated to be around 6 years old now. Life has already dealt this boy with some serious blows, and we are really hoping there is someone out there that is willing to adopt this lovely boy and let him live his life in peace. This is also a lad with lots of love to give out.
He is truly an absolute sweetheart.
Medical notes
Celio is blind however may see some shades of light.
