Lily

Meet Lily!! She's a very shy gal at the moment so she'll need to be started in a small launch room and allowed time to settle before allowing to explore the rest of the house, as she can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces. A good idea is to have a Scratch post/cat tree, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/dressers: these will provide ample safe spaces, both high and low, all around the house for Lily. We recommend a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize that Lily will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before she shows her true self! Little ones scare her, so we recommend only older teens only who can read/understand basic cat body language and know when to give Lily space. She is happy to go home with other cats in the household and, in fact, would prefer to! Lilly's confidence is growing daily and she'll often be seen leaning in for cheek strokes, and rolling around in her box.
