About Xena
Introducing the delightful Xena. Xena is a Staffy x born 12th September 2014.
Xena is a super sweet little lady who loves nothing more than spending time with people. She has spent her life living outside on a chain & she was absolutely covered in fleas. She has now been bathed, de-flea'd & desexed. She will still need to have a dental done, but this will be completed by our vets.
Due to her previous life we are looking for a family who will have her as an inside dog & who will treat her like a princess for the rest of her days.
Xena had mixed results when we originally tested her with other dogs, however she has now shown signs of not liking other dogs so she will need to be the only dog at home.
Xena seemed completely unfazed by cats & pocket pets, so we believe that if given the proper introduction she would be able to live with cats, chickens & rabbits.
Xena has shown no signs of separation anxiety while at the facility.
Xena is such a loving girl who wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Xena, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Xena's adoption fee is $500, and this includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Xena is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Xena is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
