About Pepper
Introducing the sweet little Pepper. Pepper is a Shih Tzu x Poodle born 14th March 2015.
Pepper is a sweet & gentle old man who adores his human companions.
Pepper tested well with other dogs, however he's not overly playful with them. He's happy to run along with them & interact, but he's also quite happy just with human companionship.
Pepper also tested well with cats & pocket pets. If given the proper introduction we feel he'd be suitable to live with cats & small animals.
Pepper has shown no signs of food aggression towards humans & shows no signs of separation anxiety at the facility.
Pepper is such a loving man who wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.

Pepper’s adoption fee is $600, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Pepper is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Pepper is currently located in East Maitland.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
