About Peanut & Prince
Meet Peanut (lighter fluff ball) and Prince (darker).
These two are just adorable, and will be hard to give up. Peanut being the more out going will be up at the cage always looking for attention, and food.
Prince is the quieter one enjoys a cuddle and will chill more on your lap.
Peanut just loves to explore.
Both love their food and plenty of hay.
Peanut sometimes chews shirts while being held so any smaller children will need to be ok with this.
Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.

Qld Guinea Pig Refuge is a guinea pig shelter dedicated to helping mistreated, abused, and unwanted guinea pigs in Queensland. To ensure they live a happy and healthy life, our guinea pigs are rehabilitated under our no euthanasia policy and then adopted under our strict adoption policy.
