Well, hello there!
My name is Salty and I am on the hunt... the hunt for my forever bestie!

When I came to SAFE I was a bit scared of humans, but once I learnt to trust them then they really grew on me.
I've now learnt that humans are awesome, and so now I would really like to have a human bestie forever!

I love to follow the humans at my foster home around - they get up to some strange activities!
I enjoy having a good chin wag with them, and I love it when they throw balls for me, dangle strings for me and I particularly like saving them from the dreaded red dot.

They have a weird obsession with trying to pick me up, which I'm not too fond of to be honest. I'm not sure why they haven't figured out that I'd much rather just happily jump on their lap for a cuddle as soon as they sit down, but maybe one day I'll cave and learn to enjoy their sky hugs.

I'm also totally fine to share my bestie with others - I live with a friendly dog and two cats at my foster home, and I love to play with them! However, I've been told that I can be a bit full on and I keep forgetting that they don't all love to be crash tackled - whoops! So as long as they are friendly, and don't mind me trying to play with them, then I should be just fine in a home with other animals.

I am 100% happy living my best life indoors. I enjoy watching the birds through the windows, but I prefer indoor hunting pursuits like balls, bugs, beams of light and toe monsters at the end of the bed.

ADOPTION FEE - $360
Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

* On the SAFE website simply click on 'Apply to Adopt'.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.

PLEASE NOTE THAT UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO FLY OUR ANIMALS EITHER WITHIN WA OR INTERSTATE. WE CAN HOWEVER ARRANGE TRANSPORT BY ROAD TO THE PERTH AREA
