Pippa

*pippa is currently trialling her new home* meet pippa! she has the most beautiful, loving nature we can’t for the life of us figure out how she ended up uncollected in our local pound. . . . . . Safe now with sarg adorable little pippa has settled in well into foster care – she’s made friends with everyone even our sarg kittens in care who think pippa’s a bit of fun and enjoy teasing and running rings around her and of course pippa loves it too! while in the pound 18 month old pippa shared her pen with a very old teacup chihuahua who she was very gentle towards, even cuddling up around the chi to keep her warm at night – that’s the type of sweet nature pippa has. Pippa’s definitely not an in your face yappy dog – she doesn’t even appear to bark when someone comes to the front door. Pippa likes cuddles and she loves being on your lap for pats and attention. She’s happy to explore her surroundings (loves going for walks!) but even happier to be sitting by your side just keeping you company. Pippa can be very puppy-like still with her behaviour and loves a play with children or other friendly dogs. She can come across as being a little shy when you first meet her before wiggling her way into your arms and into your heart!

this affectionate, happy girl is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy plus she’s toilet-trained, not a fussy eater, hardly sheds any hair and only requires a brush every now and then. Secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with in her new home will make pippa very happy indeed!

as she only weighs 5. 7kgs pippa’s a terrific “take anywhere” size who would enjoy an inside / outside lifestyle either with a nice little doggy companion, a dog-friendly cat or on her own if she’s not going to be left alone for long periods of time.
