About Saffron
Saffron is a gentle cuddle bug with beautiful big eyes and a soft black and white coat. She has a black spot under her nose just like her mumma and a pretty, petite face.
Saffron loves Toys! She adores racing through tunnels, chasing wand toys and playing with her siblings. After she’s had a full play session, she loves to settle down with her humans and have a snuggle.
Nothing much phases Saffy! She’s inquisitive and curious and happy. She loves lazing in sunny places, especially on the shelf next to the window where she can people watch.
Saffie adores children! She is so playful snuggly! As soon as you pick her up for a cuddle she turns into a soft, floppy snuggler full of purrs. She also loves her siblings, snuggles with them in the sun where she likes to give them a bath.
Saffie would love a family with children to play with or would be happy with another family pet. She’d love to play and have company during the day if you are not home.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
