About Rusty
Rusty (M / 6 years) – Foster Care needed with the view to Adopt
Current Location: ACT/Canberra
Rusty is a truly delightful dog in need of an experienced foster carer, someone who can be very calm, but strong and positive assertive around him and show him that the world is not scary. We believe at this point that Rusty would be better suited to a home without a lot of external activity going on around him. For this reason he would be suited to a rural or semi-rural environment.
Rusty loves to learn and will respond greatly to further training and he will bond to you incredibly quick which makes him very easy to train or teach tricks to or just play games. He is a happy, energetic boy who really wants to please you and in return he just asks for a lot of love, cuddles and games.
The ideal home for Rusty is with children over twelve, Rusty does love children but is very boisterous and knocks them over easily.
Rusty deserves to have all the attention, love and toys for himself. For this reason it is best at this stage that he is the only dog in the home.
