About Lucky
AVAILABLE NOW.
How can you say no to that face? 🥺❤️
Introducing, Lucky!
(Yes, another one 😺)
We have searched for some appropriate terms to describe this ridiculously sweet, handsome and rather large 3-legged man.
My favourites include:
""round boi""
""Hefty McWaddle Chonk""
""Thicc n juicy""
""extra cuddly""
Lucky was surrendered to the rangers by his owner. There was a divorce and Lucky was living with one of his parents; apparently, they felt so guilty about breaking up his family that they turned to feeding him... and feeding him... and feeding him.
Carrying this much extra weight could pose problems for any cat but Lucky also happens to be missing an appendage - he only has 3 legs! So, he has trouble moving his considerable girth around. Check the comments for a video of him getting up on the couch in his foster home!!
Lucky is the absolute sweetest boy. He's sugar and spice and all things nice. He loves pats and smooches and head boops. Oh, the cutest head boops. As seen in the photo, if you're not patting him he will gently extend a paw and tap you to say ""excuse me? More pats please.""
Lucky is very temperamental around other cats and is looking for a home where he's the only feline (really, who needs more when there's so much of him?!)
He is okay with dogs though, so could happily live with a pooch pal.
He's wonderfully gentle with even the youngest children so can definitely live with littlies.
Lucky needs to be strictly indoors only or in an enclosure - he doesn't have the mobility to get away from any kind of predator he might encounter!
And he needs a family who are committed to helping him live a more comfortable life by losing some weight. At the moment, he needs a lot of brushing because he's unable to reach around and groom himself. He loves being brushed!
He sometimes needs a little butt bath after he's pooped. He does not love his butt baths.
He also needs a large, wide litter tray with low sides. He does know how to use a litter tray but does sometimes have difficulty actually doing it.
At 10 years old, Lucky hopefully still has many wonderful years ahead of him.
His one remaining back leg is under a lot of stress as is his heart. We're very keen to support his family in getting him on a diet plan to lose weight safely.
If you want a really really special cat, you want Lucky.
