About Whiskey
Allow me to introduce you to Whiskey, but beware…. this young girl will steal your heart.
She is medium-sized (around 23kgs) about 1 1/2 yrs and is such a gentle, friendly, smart and sweet girl. Here are a few of her favourite things (in no particular order)...
- Playing with her gentle doggy friends
- Toys, especially the squeaky kind ! She amuses herself by squeaking them, throwing them around and running around with them in her mouth.
- Walks. She needs a daily walk - two per day would be just awesome!
- Pats and cuddles (and then some)! Just try to resist her puppy-dog eyes… 🥺
Whiskey is housetrained (was a doggy-door pro after one day!) and sleeps on her inside bed all night.
She is like a little shadow, always following you around and looking for adventure. She is an active girl but not overly so as she is happy for downtime relaxing on her bed when nothing is happening.
She would thrive in a home that could involve her in daily activities and not be left home alone all the time.
Whiskey needs:
- secure fencing, ideally 6ft (1.8m).
- to be allowed inside with the family and sleep inside.
- a doggy friend, who is up for play time.
She is not tested with cats.
This gorgeous girl will give a lucky family so much joy so if you think you can give Whiskey the best forever home, please apply.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
