Bailey is a sweet girl, who loves being around people, enjoying sitting on a convenient lap or cuddling up on the lounge. When she wants to be especially endearing, she will sit on her haunches, giving a very good impression of a meerkat.

While she does like human company, she's just as happy doing her own thing playing with her rope toy or chasing flies and shadows in the garden. She sleeps all night, only getting up when her people do.

She loves her walks, being ready to go at any opportunity, walking well on her lead and setting a good pace. While she is good with most dogs, she can react to others depending on the situation, so care is recommended until you get to know her. She is untested with cats.

When first coming to SAFE, she was nervous in the car but is now more relaxed. Bailey does like her food, so diligence will be required to keep her weight under control. Although she is good with children, given her size and age, she will be more suited to households without younger children.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).
