About Bonnie
This adorable little girl takes after her mum with her slim physique, long legs, and scruffy face. She is a happy little soul, who loves to explore the yard, soak up the great outdoors, but also likes to spend time inside, playing with her litter-mates and the bigger dogs, messing round with the toys and snoozing on one of the dog beds. She loves to come up on the bed for an afternoon nap and cuddle-up too.
Bonnie was born in a remote Community in the Western desert region of Central Australia in beautiful Willy Wagtail dreaming county. She was weaned rather abruptly from her mum at 4 weeks old, because her family were going away for an extended period and wanted the pups to be cared for and raised up to find new homes. Fortunately, there was another mummy dog in foster at the time whose puppies had just left, and she adopted this little crew and fed them while they were settling in. Bonnie has had a carefree and protected puppy-hood. She is ready now to step out and find her own place in the world.
Bonnie is currently in foster care in Community. She will be ready to travel in early March. She will travel by car to Alice Springs, and then via QANTA to South Australia. He travel costs are included in her adoption fee.
Medical notes
In addition to the usual parasite management (tick, flea and heartworm protection), Bonnie will be tested for the full panel of tick-bourne diseases endemic in the Northern Territory including Erlichea Canus, Babesia, and Anaplasmosis. If treatment is indicated, it will be provided.
