Hey there! I’m Ashton, and I aren’t I a cute furry, mysterious shadow!

Typical to a shadow, I like my hidey holes to disappear into and sleep the day away. I’m a quiet boy but am happy to sit on top of a comfy cat tree and greet my people as they come home. I’d prefer to have a home with experienced people and older kids that understand when to give me space and to handle me gently as I can be a bit of a nervous boy. Once I get to know you, I’ll gladly follow you around and just be your own personal shadow that demands treats. I’d like some gentle brushing to help keep my wonderful mane looking as stunning as the night sky!

Something to let you know about is that I’ve got a very common virus to the feline species called Cat Flu, and because of this I would be best suited to indoors only to prevent it spreading. When I came into the RSPCA I had some fur missing so the nice vets ran some test to work out what caused it. They aren't sure what has exactly caused it however they think it could be from flea or insect bites, food or a contact allergy. For now, I am doing fine, however if in the future you notice me scratching a lot and causing fur loss again it might be a good idea to take me to see my new vet.
