About Hera
Miss HERA is a gentle and sweet-natured blue and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who's been reluctantly surrendered by her doting owner due to a change in family circumstances and through no fault of her own.
This much-loved girl was born on 14 March 2020 and weighs about 20 kgs.
There's nothing not to love about Hera. True to her breed, she thrives on human company and is great with children. She's never met a dog she doesn't love and currently lives in foster care with a senior German Shepherd. She appears to tolerant of her foster mum's cat, Daisy.
Playful and energetic, Hera enjoys a walk and once the initial excitement is over, she walks well on a lead. She likes going to the beach and is happy to paddle in the shallows. She doesn't like a running hose and we guess there's a story behind that, but Hera's not telling.
She is a great car dog and has spent many happy days tripping around with her former owner.
She has her basic commands down pat. Eager to please, she understands and obeys the word "no". She has very good recall.
Hera is house-trained and well-mannered inside the home, but is accustomed to spending much of her day outside with her canine buddy.
Her good manners and sweet temperament are testament to her being much-loved and kindly treated throughout her short life.
Hera would make a delightful companion or family dog. Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and there is another compatible dog for backyard play and romps.
If you are interested in meeting Hera and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Hera's adoption fee is $600 and she's desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
She is available for interstate adoption.
