Mara-Jade

Hi, my name's Mara-Jade. I came into care from a 90-year-old lady's backyard with my one single kitten. I've been a great mum and my son has found his furever home. I'd like to find my own now.

I'm a quiet girl who is very purry once I get to know you. I will rub up against your leg at meal times and give you a quiet meow to let you know I'm hungry. I love sleeping on the bed with you as well and will purr loudly to let you know how much I appreciate you. I love being the little spoon and cuddling up to you at night to sleep.

My FAVOURITE thing in the world is my bird toy that I'll go home with on top of the usual adoption pack stuff. I am fine with the resident cats in my foster home (except the dominant boy, I don't like him at all!) but tend to like to spend my days curled up in a bed away from others. I won't mind if I have another cat friend or not, as long as I have someone who will give me the time to learn to trust them.

Mara-Jade has been:
- Tried with cats and is fine with them
- Untried with children (no small children please - Teenagers should be fine)
- Untried with dogs (no dogs please no matter how cat friendly they are. We do not believe Mara would do well in a home with dogs)

***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure enclosure only. This means no high fences etc. Netted enclosures only***

Mara-Jade is approximately 10 months old (approx DOB 1/5/22) and her adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- Full Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get her started.

Mara-Jade is available to meet at her foster carer's home in Morphett Vale.
