About Whisper (59249)
Whisper is a young and inexperienced girl looking for a patient, calm and caring owner. She came to GAWS as a stray with unknown prior history and has struggled with the busy shelter life. Whisper is very nervous of new situations and has been participating in our TLC club while she learns how to come out of her shell. She will require a confident owner in a stable environment who preferably has experience with nervous dogs. She may suit living with a well matched male dog that can help guide her but is not suited to living with children under 13. She has no known history with cats. Whisper may need a couple of meet and greets before she is comfortable with her potential new people and would highly benefit from a foster to adopt situation so her new owners have support through her integration to a new home.

Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction.
