NOTE: You are unable to meet Sid until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Sid in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• I MUST be allowed inside with my family as I absolutely love being with people.
• I LOVE other dogs and MUST go to a home with another dog but I'm a very energetic and playful dog, so I need a doggy playmate who will match my energy levels and playfulness.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• My new family must provide me with unlimited belly rubs
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
• Large breed experience is a preferred
• Due to my size and strength if I go to a home with children they will need to be use to large dogs as I may accidently knock them over.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• I can sit, shake hands & drop on command, im a very clever boy
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I appear housetrained
• Love to snooze on the couch
• I love toys especially my ball, playing fetch and tug rope

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I do walk quite well on the lead, however I can pull if something interests me so walking in a harness is recommended.
